In it's first outing for the fall racing season, Beach Crew fielded five 8+'s and 3 4+'s through the 4500 meter head race through the waters of Newport Harbor, Lido Isle, and the Upper Newport Bay.

A sunny morning brought over 30 collegiate crews to the 2009 Newport Autumn Rowing Festival, seeing Cal and Stanford among many other universities.
