Women’s Crew Pancake Regatta 2023

This year the Women’s Crew participated in the Pancake Regatta’s novice sprints. Beach Crew competed with six other crews in the Long Beach Marina and in a head race around Naples Island. The Women’s Crew really took off this year and finished second place in three of four of their races. San Diego State University had a limited number of rowers this year and was not able to race an eight, so our Women’s Crew let them join our boat to get some experience. One of the races was a dual and our Women’s Crew ended up winning. Overall, it was a successful Pancake Regatta and the Women’s Crew is showing great potential for the upcoming spring season.
