World Famous Stämpfli 24x Express Coming to Long Beach 12/13/15
The world’s longest racing shell is on its way to the Long Beach Marine Stadium on Sunday, December 13, to fundraise for the Joan Lind Van Blom Women’s Sculling Endowment. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to row in the Stämpfli 24x Express with Olympians on the Historic Long Beach Marine Stadium. If you were touched or inspired by Joan’s personality, courage, and accomplishments, this is your chance to contribute to the endowment and have fun doing it.
Where: Marine Stadium Beach (between 9S & 7S), Long Beach, CA
When: December 13, 2015, starting at 8:30 AM, shifts each hour though 1:30 PM
Rowing time will be approximately 45 minutes to and from the beach side.
Registration begins @ 8:00AM (must sign waiver at registration)
$50.00 PER SEAT | $70.00 PER SEAT with T-Shirt
GROUP AND TEAM SESSIONS AVAILABLE
Long Beach Rowing Association will offer Learn to Row sessions on this day.
(Learn to Row beginners, minimum 12 years of age and must be able to swim)
