This is usually the only time the crews get the real experience of rowing in open ocean waters.<br> <br> Beach Crew has a scrimmage with UC Irvine and Orange Coast on Satuday, February 27. Opening Weekend is scheduled Saturday, March 6, and will be hosted by UC San Diego in Mission Bay this year. This event renews the annual commitment that the university has set to bring collegiate crews back to Marine Stadium.
