Beach Crew’s 2012 spring racing season opened last weekend during the annual SoCal Opening Day Regatta in Newport Harbor hosted by UC Irvine. We want to thank all parents, alumni, and friends for supporting our athletes. The weather was amazing and it was a great day for a regatta!
The women’s teams race on the March 24 in Newport Harbor for Orange Coast’s Berg. Don’t forget to make reservations to come down and enjoy the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay in San Diego, later this month, March 31 – April 1.
The Western Intercollegiate Rowing Championships (WIRA) is on April 28-29 at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma near Folsom and Sacramento. Great room rates are still available in Rancho Cordova at the Hampton Inn and other local hotels.
Both WIRA and Crew Classic provide great racing in spectacular venues! Don’t miss the chance to come out and support Beach Crew and enjoy several weekends on the water!
Stay tuned to the B-Newsline for the rest of our schedule.
